Regal Imports was established in 1978. Regal was the first diamond company in Canada to emphasize strict grading standards and document quality using GIA grading system. We are proud to be a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council and hope to be the first audited and accredited member of this consumer protection initiative. Regal Imports was at the forefront in establishing contact with Russian government diamond works, making several trips to Moscow, well before Glasnost. This early Russian connection set us apart from other diamond dealers and brought a new standard of cut and colour to the Canadian market.

Regal Imports has a 32-year uncompromising reputation. We are considered specialists by the diamond community. The majority of our stock is D-F in colour and we carry only GIA excellent or very good cut grades. We sell the full selection of clarity grades from VVS to I1. Our standards are much stricter than current GIA grading standards and especially with regard to clarity. We guarantee our own grading to achieve the same or better grade by any well recognized laboratory in the world.

Regal Imports is also a specialist in Canadian diamonds. All our Canadian diamonds are guaranteed by the CanadaMark certificate of origin. Regal Imports was the first company to be certified by the CanadaMark program and we have been selling Canadian origin longer then any other diamond company. Regal Imports assisted in the set up and is a founding member of The Canadian Diamond Code of Conduct. Our Canadian diamonds are marketed under our own distinctive brand “The Hallmark of Quality”.
